Where have you gone my lovely?
You seem so out of sight!
My heart is aching now…
For within me you burn so bright.
Yet I know we are always one,
I crave to meet you soon –
To feel your touch, your skin and gaze…
To make your heart a home.
There is no other longing than
Longing to know your love.
There is no other aching –
That calls from up above.
For you are my true soul mate,
We have searched from the beginning of time…
To be as one, to be together…
To be yours and you to be mine!
Where have you gone my lovely?
We’ve been parted for too long.
And although I’m happy on my own –
Together we belong.
I’ve never been insecure or yearned to have a partner…
But the ache within my very soul tells a different story.
The divine wishes for me a companion to walk along the road.
So that I will always have support –
To lighten the heavy load.
For we were born for others
To bring love to the earth
Burning as one, beneath the sun.
